DryLyte – the first dry electropolishing system
The patented DryLyte process of our partner GPAINNOVA is a technological innovation which automates, simplifies and standardizes the surface finishing of metal parts.
With the affordable polishing machines DLyte Compact and DLyte Desktop, dry polishing has found its way into dental laboratories of all sizes. For end results that will make you shine. The dental applications for DryLyte are versatile and range from fixed and removable dentures, implant structures & abutments to orthodontic products. For cast, sintered and milled workpieces made of cobalt-chrome and titanium.
The DryLyte technology
The dry electropolishing system combines the principle of electrolysis with a precise mechanical movement: current pulses initiate an ion exchange between the workpiece and the electrolyte, removing material from the rough points. The result is a gentle polishing effect that does not round off edges and also achieves geometries that are mechanically difficult to access.
Instead of an electrolyte liquid, DryLyte uses dry electrolyte granules as the polishing medium. The optional use of wet electrolytes in a two-stage process intensifies and accelerates the polishing process. With a perfect result from the first to the last workpiece.
